On Saturday, October 21, 2017, residents and volunteers will join forces with Canopy, Habitat for Humanity, Acterra and GRID Alternatives to beautify and revitalize the Kavanaugh East Palo Alto neighborhood.
Location: Clarence Court (off Kavanaugh Drive), East Palo Alto – additional parking at JobTrain 1200 O’Brien Drive/Kavanaugh Way, Menlo Park)
In conjunction with a neighborhood revitalization, beautification and environmental projects; East Palo Alto, Kavanaugh neighbors (~ 230 households) will be celebrating their accomplishments with volunteers by organizing a BBQ lunch (weather permitting) and nonprofit community street fair.
Nonprofit groups and community leaders are mobilizing to plant trees, clean sidewalks, perform energy efficient upgrades and solar installations, repair homes and remove fences for qualified households.
The event will include a barbeque and block party with information sharing on various public and nonprofit programs as well as an electric auto expo.
