Using Translation

The County of San Mateo has added a translation feature developed by Google Translate to assist web visitors in understanding information on this website in a variety of foreign languages. Please be aware that Google Translate, a free third party service which the County does not control, provides automated computer translations that may not give you an exact translation. The County cannot guarantee the accuracy of translations through Google Translate so translations should not be considered exact and only used as a rough guide. Anyone relying on information obtained from Google Translate does so at his or her own risk. The County disclaims and will not accept any liability for damages or losses of any kind caused by the use of the Google Translate feature.

Citywide Yard Sale: July 21, 22, 23, 2023

The annual Citywide Yard Sale is back! Join hundreds of residents holding yard sales at their homes, rain or shine. This community event supports the City’s Zero Waste goals by encouraging residents to reuse and recycle items no longer needed. Together, we can give a new purpose to unused items!

The yard sale is from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. on each of the following days:

  • Friday, July 21
  • Saturday, July 22
  • Sunday, July 23

Sellers may choose to participate on any of the sale days! Online and printed address lists will show which day(s) each participating seller is open.

Shoppers will see advertisements in the San Mateo Daily Journal and the City’s social media platforms. Shoppers can find yard sale addresses and items for sale on the City’s website and on printed maps published a week before the yard sale weekend.
