For Teachers
Teachers in San Mateo County can take advantage of free curriculum, assembly presentations, field trip offerings, and technical support. Discover lesson plans and environmental literacy resources to inspire your students through our Solutions to Waste Schools Program. Also take advantage of no-cost field trips through the Youth Exploring Climate Science (YECS) program. This program, hosted by the Sustainability Department in collaboration with the San Mateo County Parks Department and local organizations, provides students with hands-on learning opportunities about climate change, sea level rise, biodiversity, and wildfire management.
For Students
