Multifamily and Commercial Properties

Benefits of Installing Electric Vehicle Charging

  • Attract and retain tenants and customers: EV charging is an amenity that many tenants seek. Installing EV charging at a multifamily building can increase the property’s appeal and keep tenants satisfied. Installing EV charging at a commercial property allows employees and customers to charge while away from home.
  • Remain competitive: The number of properties with EV chargers is growing. EV chargers are required at most new buildings built today. Installing EV chargers helps property owners remain competitive and meet growing demand. Getting ahead now means you won’t be playing catch-up later.
  • Good for business: The presence of EV charging stations can boost customer spending at nearby businesses.
  • Demonstrate your commitment to sustainability: Properties that install EV chargers show leadership in their communities and help meet local climate action goals.

Learn how easy and fun it is to recycle your fruit and vegetable scraps, leaves, and plant cuttings into compost in these free workshops! These workshops teach composting options suitable for those with or without a backyard. Apartment dwellers welcome! Compost provides valuable nutrients for your garden soil, helps retain moisture, which saves water, prevents erosion, loosens clay and compacted soils for better drainage, and suppresses weeds. It is rewarding to know you are turning what some consider waste into precious organic material for your garden.

Discounts and rebates for backyard compost and worm compost bins will be distributed to San Mateo County residents!
