For over fifteen years, the Office of Sustainability Schools Program, previously under the RecycleWorks Program, has worked with thousands of students, teachers, and administrators throughout San Mateo County. Our primary mission is for students to take action to conserve resources and help protect our environment.
Within this website you will find sustainability and environmental literacy educational resources and services offered to educators, students, administrators and facility managers. Our resources and services fall within the areas of waste reduction, energy and water conservation, watershed and coastal protection, and alternative transportation.
